Martin Martinez

Martin Martinez a 70 year old Declo resident passed away March 15, 2024 at his home.

Martin was born May 25, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Martin A. Martinez and Edilia Lopez. He graduated from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles California.

Martin worked as a welder and drove truck while living in California. He then moved to Declo, Idaho where he made it his forever home with the love of his life Angie. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and mostly riding with his bros on his Harley. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with Angie Martinez.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many  loved ones. He is survived by Angie Martinez, his sister Anna (Steve) Herrera and lots of family and friends.

Thanks to hospice for all there help and to his bros Santos, Duane, and Saul for the will be brothers for Life. A funeral mass will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Rupert Idaho, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday March 22 with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Services will conclude with burial in the Declo Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary
