His hobbies included golfing with his best friend Bruce Berry, and racing his street stock at the Magic Valley Speedway.
While in California, he went to school to be a machinist. Upon returning home he worked hard to obtain his license as an electrician. He was employed at several different places however; he found his way back to work with his best friend Bruce Berry at B & B electric in Rupert ID.

He and his wife raced together at the Magic Valley Speedway for several years. She would like to thank their racing family for all of the help they have given them over the years, especially after his passing. The weekend after his passed they honored him with a memorial event and balloon release. They will also be doing a 50/50 raffle on the weekend of the 11th and 12th in his honor. His wife would like to extend gratitude towards their fans for all of the love and support they gave him.

Viewing and gathering for family and friends will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Hansen Mortuary Rupert chapel. There will be an open mic to allow his friends and family the opportunity to share their memories with each other and celebrate his life.

So sad to hear of Devon's passing. We had good times at our grandparents house when we were children. I remember when he climbed up in the big pine tree and had pitch or sap in his hair and had to have his head shaved! Heartfelt prayers and condolences to you and the family. May the Lord bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
