Sherry completed her high school education at Jerome High School. She then attended Links College of Business where she obtained a secretarial business degree.
She worked for the Jerome School District for 13 years as a Special Ed Paraprofessional. Sherry most recently worked at the high school. She enjoyed her job very much; she would always say her kids were angels from heaven with broken wings. They touched her life in so many ways, it was a very rewording profession for her.

Sherry was an avid fisherwoman, to the point that she always had her fishing pole in her car. She always wanted to be ready if the chance to wrangle a trout came up. She enjoyed the mountains and wildlife, as well. She enjoyed going out on the four wheelers with the family. Camping was also something that Sherry really enjoyed. Anything that would get her outside so that she could enjoy the sunshine and the free spirit feeling that nature gave her.

Sherry also enjoyed music. She would play the organ and sign along. If the organ was not near that did not stop her she could always think of a tune to sing, and sign it loud. She enjoyed turning on her tunes and singing and dancing along. It was ways always a joy to watch her get down to her music.

Crafting was also a past time of Sherry’s. She knew how to knit, crochet and tat. Sherry always had a knack for decoration and enjoyed it, too. She also could sew a vast variety of things. She really enjoyed when the family would get together and complete some crafting project.

Cooking was also one of Sherry’s passion. She could whip up many amazing decadent dishes. She found joy in crafting up hearty meals that would fuel her family. The skills did not end there, though, she was also a very skilled baker.
