From Gina Parker Waddell:
My first job was working for Joan at the library when I was a senior in high school, many years ago. She taught me so much and was always so patient and kind. I loved working for her and have thought of her often through the years. My sincere condolences to her family.
From Susan Somerset Jacobsen:
So sorry to see that Joan passed away. She was such a sweet lady and a very good librarian! I have retired from the Jerome Library but we worked together many years. I was lucky to have her for a roommate at a library workshop at BSU. I have missed seeing her since she retired. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
George and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. God bless you all in the weeks and months to come.
From Nonnie Osterhout Johnston:
