Jamie Marie Kloer

Sep. 8, 1978 - Aug. 21, 2026

RUPERT – Jamie Marie Kloer, age 47, of Rupert, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Jamie began life, a few weeks early, on September 8, 1978, to Ronald K and Joyce Marie Jensen in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was raised in Rupert alongside her three siblings Amy, Joni, and Anthony “Bud”. In her youth, Jamie enjoyed, many years of dance, cheerleading, and being the center of all things fun and social. She enjoyed spending many summers with family and friends at Lake Powell. Jamie graduated from Minico High School with the class of 1996. After spending some time at Boise State University, she decided to move back to Rupert. While working with her dad at IESM, she met and fell in love with Shane Kloer. Jamie and Shane were married on 9/9/99. Shane and Jamie were blessed with three beautiful boys. Jamie was a loving mother to her three children, Shane Gage, Luke Carlile, and Austin Henry. “The Boys” were the greatest joy and pride of her life. Her love for the boys was unconditional, and she cherished every moment she shared with them through thick and thin. She was always so proud of them and the men they have grown to be.

Outside of the love of her children, Jamie enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She loved getting lost in a good book and could often be found reading any hour of the day or night. She also enjoyed needlework, quilting, embroidery, and diamond art. She enjoyed creating beautiful and thoughtful pieces with patience and meticulous care. These hobbies reflected her gentle nature and her appreciation for making something meaningful with her own hands, qualities she inherited from her father and mother.

Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Ronald K Jensen; her older sister, Amy Jo Manning; her grandparents, Billy and Dean Jensen; and Ernest and Evelyn Thalman. Their memories remained an important part of her life, and she carried their love with her always.

She is survived by her husband, Shane Keith Kloer; three children, Shane Gage, Luke Carlile, and Austin Henry; her mother, Joyce Jensen; as well as her siblings, Joni (Justin) Young, Bud (Tiffany) Jensen; and many nieces, nephews; and extended family members; and friends who will miss her dearly.

At Jamie’s request, there will not be a formal funeral service held, only a private family gathering for her internment.

If you’d like to honor Jamie, grab a cup of nugget ice, a Diet Dr. Pepper, and dive into a good book, or create something beautiful with your hands. Enjoy the moment.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Hansen Mortuary of Rupert.

I have many memories of Jamie...we cheered for many years together and that brings back many memories. She always had the best smile. I remember we had keyboarding together; we kind of had races doing our typing exercises, she was always faster than I was and I tried to beat her, but she always won!!!
From Brittney:
My heart goes out to her family. I went to school with Jamie and she was always so giggly and had a smile. She will be missed.
