Diane married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Paulson, on August 14, 1965 at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Warren, Minn. They were fortunate enough to have been able to share 50 years of marriage together. They were blessed with 2 daughters and 4 beautiful granddaughters. Steffanie Ann of Meridian, Id with her 2 daughters Kiera Diane (20) and Jenna Lee (18). Bobbi with her husband Brian Cofer of Eagle, Id and their 2 daughters Kendall Diane (15) and Paige Elizabeth (12). Also left to mourn her passing is her sister Faye Satkuman of Fargo, ND and nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.

To Diane playing the piano and organ was her heaven on earth. As a young adult she started playing for churches she attended. She was part of the musicians at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rupert, Id, up to the time of her illness. Diane was not only an accomplished organ player but also played the pedalboard. It was always fun to watch her fingers and feet making beautiful music.

Diane was always game for new adventures. Her and Bob went on many cruises together. When she was not traveling she would come to Boise area to visit her children and grandchildren and shop. She also would fly to Fargo, ND to catch up with her mother Dorothy, sister Faye and Faye’s son and grandsons.

From Maria Trevino:
I thought I would share a memory of mine of your mom. She was my science teacher in 7th grade, which happened to be when the Columbine shooting happened. Our school went into lock down and it was on your mom's classroom that we spent 3/4 of our day. She prayed with us. She let us discuss our fears. And then she lead the class in joke telling to help distract us from the fear. That day she hugged each of as we left her room, and told us how important we all were. She was the comfort every parent prays for their child to have when they are unable to be there. Your mother will be so greatly missed.
From Maria Trevino:

From Stacey & Allen Allred:
I am so sorry for your loss. I know this has been a tough road for all of you. Your mother handled this with amazing strength and courage in knowing who she was going to meet on this final leg of her journey. I hope you are able to find comfort and peace in knowing the same - that your parents are once again reunited with the love of their life. My love and condolences.
