Susan Garner, 62 of Rupert passed away December 16, 2017 at her home.

Susan was born September 16, 1955 in Astoria, Oregon to Robert and Doris Miller. She was married to Calvin Garner. She lived her childhood in Long Beach, Washington and moved to Idaho when she was 19. She moved back to Washington at the age of 28 and back to Idaho when she was 36. She received her Associates degree in Secretarial Management. Susan started working at McCain Foods in 1989 and worked until 2006 when she retired. She was a member of the Methodist Church as a child and a Jehovah Witness as an adult. She loved doing all kinds of crafts and enjoyed fishing. She loved watching her grandchildren grow.

Susan is survived by her husband Calvin Garner, children Wendy and Brad West, Athena and Billy Burling, Christopher Garner, and Daniella Myers. Grandchildren Conner Garner, Cody Burling, Tyler West, Caden Burling, Elizabeth Myers Zachary Myers and Abigale West. Brother David Miller and Sister Sandy Miller. She is preceded in death by her mother Doris and Father Robert Miller, Roberta Miller, and Grandma Jasper.

Viewing and gathering for family and friends will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Hansen Mortuary. Services are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
